Tourist Rites in Petra:
Jordan proved its existence effectively on the Arab and international areas in the field of tourism through the media and the Jordan individual conduct with the guests all over Jordan. Jordanians, at their various locations, were able to convey and promote our glorious history and sublime civilizations to the remaining people of the World.
Jordan has tourism constituents. This placed Jordan at the head of the regional countries in attracting tourists. This is because Jordan is interested in archeological locations spreading all over Jordan.

Petra, the rosy city was sacred for Nabateans, and their subordinate peoples. It was the center for erecting religious rites. Churches (Abbeys), the court, the alter where animals were scarified for gods and other worshipping places at that time are evidences on that.

1-Horse- Riding Hobby: They have complete freedom to meet their wishes, during the visit by marking a trip to Wadi Rum on horses along a 170 kms desert road and short walks inside Petra gates day and night. Nothing is more beautiful than roaming at night on horseback in the city of dream and civilization. Try it, dear visitor, and you will never regret.
2. Camel – Riding Hobby Camel-riding amateurs can wander inside the holy city or inside the Small Petra and watch the natural charming pleasant scenes. He can make desert trips for three successive days.
3 - Prayers Performance: Complete freedom is available for all religions to erect their prayers at the places they choose to perform their rites and adorations.
4. Wedding Parties: A Petra visitor enjoys watching wedding parties of the area natives. These weddings have special impressions and reveal some of the Nabateans traditions normally conducted at hair-tents where horses and camel races are held in front of those tents.
5. Beautiful Rites: These rites still remind the contemporary human being of Al Anbat (The Nabateans, the forefathers. These are festivals of camels and horses race in Small Petra at various intervals to maintain these norms customs and traditions inherited from fathers and grandfathers.
6- Caves’ Parties: Parties are held, for visitors, in special mountainous caves intervened by folklore dancing, ballads and anthems especially playing a Bedouin musical instrument called (Al Rababah).
